Juhayna Food Industries – El Enmaa Farm
Founded in 1983, Juhayna Food Industries is a leading Egypt-based manufacturer specialized in the production, processing and packaging of dairy, juice, and cooking products. El-Enmaa for Agriculture Development and Livestock Company is one of subsidiaries attributed to Juhayna, specialized in the reclamation and cultivation of agricultural land as well as the maintenance of Juhayna’s dairy farms.
Located in Bahariya Oasis, KarmSolar’s hybrid PV-diesel System serves Juhayna’s 500 acers dairy farm, the delivered mega represents Phase 1 from the 3 MW Signed with Juhayna.
Sahl Hasheesh Solar Station
Owned by KarmSolar, Sahl Hasheesh for Solar Energy (SPV) was established for the purpose of a Feed-in-Tariff agreement signed with the government. The solar station feeds into the national grid and was built on the Land of the Egyptian Resorts Company (ERC), which is rented by KarmSolar.
Orion Food Industries – Orion Factory
Orion Food Industries is one of the fastest companies in the FMCG industry in Egypt. It is primarily focused on manufacturing, supplying and exporting high quality raw materials to produce premium quality fresh fruit puree used in food industries locally, regionally and international.
Under a power purchase agreement, KarmSolar utilized Orion factory’s roof space to deliver the signed 311 kW station and sell the factory cheaper electricity at a discount to the government’s tariff.
Badreldin Real Estate Development – Mazar Mall
Badreldin Real Estate Development is specialized in residential and commercial real estate projects. The company has since delivered several projects in El Sheikh Zayed city, namely the residential compounds “Karma Residences” and the service project “Mazar Mall”. The signed deal saw KarmSolar using Mazar Mall’s roof space to deliver a 376 kW solar station and sell electricity at a discount to the government’s tariff under a PPA contract.
Egypt Marine – Blue Reef Resort
Owned by Egypt Marine, Blue Reef Resort is known in Marsa Alam for its location along the Red Sea Rivera, with a variety of well-appointed rooms and leisure activities.
The tourism company signed a business agreement with KarmSolar to build a 200 kW hybrid system and sell cheaper electricity to Blue Reef Resort under a power purchase agreement.
Dakahlia Group – Dakahlia Poultry
Dakahlia Group is one of the largest agribusinesses in Egypt, comprised of five major sectors: Poultry, commodities trade, agriculture, agrochemicals and food processing. Dakahlia Poultry is one of the group’s several subsidiaries and among the largest regional players in the poultry industry, providing 30% of locally bred poultry in Egypt. Marked as KarmSolar’s signature project and the largest private PPA in Egypt. The solar power plant Located in El Minyaa provides 75% of the energy consumed by Dakahlia’s breeder farms complex with 100 half-acre poultry sheds and a total production capacity of 140 million chicks per day.
North Red Sea for Holistic Developments- Lahmi Bay
Owned by North Read Sea for Holistic Development and located in Marsa Alam, Lahmi Bay Resort is situated a few hundred meters away from the beach into the sea and is known for architecture of the resort was conceived to harmonize with its pristine natural surroundings, reflecting an infusion of two styles – Oriental Maritime and Mediterranean.
The company signed a power purchase agreement with KarmSolar to build a 350 kW hybrid system, and sell electricity at a discount to the government’s tariff.
